Bulky pickup in Tulsa
Mattresses, furniture, and many appliances — city bulk or drop-off, not the regular cart.
Official source:
Tulsa Bulky Waste Pick Up requires an appointment through 311 or online. Fee is $10 per 8 cubic yards ($20 starting October 1, 2026). Set items out by 5 a.m. on your regular refuse day. Mattresses and bulky furniture use this program.
Household hazardous waste — used oil, paint, propane, batteries, and chemicals.
Official source:
Tulsa HPCF at 4502 S Galveston Ave accepts household hazardous materials Wed & Sat 8:00–11:30 and 12:00–16:30; free Tulsa residents. Used motor oil accepted at HPCF. Tires are NOT accepted at HPCF.
TVs, computers, and electronics. Usually banned from trash and the blue bin.
Official source:
Tulsa HPCF at 4502 S Galveston Ave accepts small electronics — not large TVs. Mixed e-waste and larger items go to M.e.t. fee centers. Bulky accepts up to 4 TVs/monitors/computers in a separate pile when scheduled.
Construction debris, concrete, and remodel waste — transfer station or roll-off.
Official source:
Limited homeowner renovation debris may go on Bulky Waste Pick Up when scheduled ($10/8 cy). Larger contractor C&D loads need a private hauler. Route paint and chemicals to HPCF separately.
Cart recycling, store film take-back, and foam rules — not a second bulky program.
Official source:
Tulsa recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. City of Tulsa — Bulky Waste Pick Up is the official Tulsa program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
