Bulky pickup in Omaha
Mattresses, furniture, and many appliances — city bulk or drop-off, not the regular cart.
Official source:

Household hazardous waste — used oil, paint, propane, batteries, and chemicals.
Official source:
Under The Sink HHW at 4001 S 120th St accepts household hazardous materials Wed/Fri 9–4:45, Thu 9–6:15, Sat by appointment. Used motor oil accepted at HHW. River City Transfer does NOT accept HHW.
TVs, computers, and electronics. Usually banned from trash and the blue bin.
Official source:
Omaha TV/e-waste disposal is primarily through Spring/Fall Cleanup events — check wasteline.org for dates and accepted items. mixed electronic waste are NOT accepted at River City Transfer or Under The Sink HHW.
Construction debris, concrete, and remodel waste — transfer station or roll-off.
Official source:
Construction and demolition debris is NOT accepted at River City Transfer voucher sites. Hire a private C&D hauler or use appropriate transfer options. Route paint and chemicals to Under The Sink HHW separately.
Cart recycling, store film take-back, and foam rules — not a second bulky program.
Official source:
Omaha recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. City of Omaha — Bulky waste / River City Transfer is the official Omaha program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
