Clark County residents in Las Vegas receive bulky item collection every other week on their regular Republic Services collection day under the county solid waste ordinance. Mattresses and furniture are accepted on bulky week. Set items out by 7 a.m. on your designated day. Household hazardous waste — used oil, paint, propane, batteries, and chemicals.

Clark County HHW rotating sites (North 333 W Gowan Rd / South 560 Cape Horn Dr) accept household hazardous materials Wed–Sat 9 a.m.–1 p.m.; check calendar. Used motor oil accepted at HHW. Freon appliances and electronics use other pathways.

Las Vegas recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. Clark County / Republic Services — Southern Nevada residential collection is the official Las Vegas program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
