Bulky pickup in Spokane
Mattresses, furniture, and many appliances — city bulk or drop-off, not the regular cart.
Official source:
Spokane bulky items are collected on your garbage day — schedule through 311. Mattresses are accepted. Call 311 or use my.spokanecity.org solid waste resources.
TVs, computers, and electronics. Usually banned from trash and the blue bin.
Official source:
Electronics including mixed e-waste are NOT accepted on Spokane bulky collection. Use E-Cycle Washington free program — search ecyclewashington.org for registered recyclers. Wipe data before drop-off.
Construction debris, concrete, and remodel waste — transfer station or roll-off.
Official source:
Limited homeowner C&D may go on Spokane 311 bulky collection on garbage day. Larger contractor loads need a private C&D hauler. Route paint/chemicals to WTE HHW separately.
Cart recycling, store film take-back, and foam rules — not a second bulky program.
Official source:
Spokane recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. City of Spokane — Garbage & bulky collection is the official Spokane program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
