Bulky pickup in Vancouver
Mattresses, furniture, and many appliances — city bulk or drop-off, not the regular cart.
Official source:
Vancouver WA mattresss go on hauler bulky collection or self-haul to West Vancouver Materials Recovery Center — 6601 NW Old Lower River Road. Keep HHW off bulky piles.
Household hazardous waste — used oil, paint, propane, batteries, and chemicals.
Official source:
Take motor oil to Clark County Household Hazardous Waste at the Central Recycling Center — confirm hours and rules on clark.wa.gov. Not regular bulky trash.
TVs, computers, and electronics. Usually banned from trash and the blue bin.
Official source:
Vancouver WA electronics including e waste mixed go to Clark County Central Recycling Center or West Van MRC e-waste pathways — confirm on clark.wa.gov. Wipe data before drop-off.
Construction debris, concrete, and remodel waste — transfer station or roll-off.
Official source:
Construction debris is not typical free bulk material. Hire private C&D or confirm West Van MRC C&D rules. Route paint/chemicals to CRC HHW separately.
Cart recycling, store film take-back, and foam rules — not a second bulky program.
Official source:
Vancouver recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. City of Vancouver / Clark County solid waste is the official Vancouver program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
