Bulky pickup in Aurora
Mattresses, furniture, and many appliances — city bulk or drop-off, not the regular cart.
Official source:
Aurora has NO city bulk collection. Mattresses go through your private licensed hauler's bulk service. Confirm hauler fees and scheduling before set-out.
TVs, computers, and electronics. Usually banned from trash and the blue bin.
Official source:
Aurora city e-waste events ended Jul 2026. Electronics including mixed e-waste must go to Earth911-listed or private e-waste recyclers — Colorado landfill ban applies. Wipe data before drop-off.
Construction debris, concrete, and remodel waste — transfer station or roll-off.
Official source:
Aurora has no city bulk for construction debris. Hire a private C&D hauler for remodel loads. Route paint to PaintCare and chemicals to WM At Your Door separately.
Cart recycling, store film take-back, and foam rules — not a second bulky program.
Official source:
Aurora recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. City of Aurora — Trash & Recycling is the official Aurora program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
