Colorado Springs has NO citywide bulky pickup — residential service is through private haulers (WM, Republic, etc.). The county Clean Sweep mattress program is paused as of August 2026. Mattresses go through your hauler for a fee, self-haul to Colorado Springs Landfill at 1010 Blaney Rd, or hire a junk hauler. Keep It Clean COS is neighborhood events only — not a citywide bulky program.

Colorado Springs recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. City of Colorado Springs — WastelessCOS is the official Colorado Springs program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
