Bulky pickup in Pueblo
Mattresses, furniture, and many appliances — city bulk or drop-off, not the regular cart.
Official source:
Pueblo mattresss: buy a $10 large-item voucher (Public Works or pueblo.us/recycleworks; 2 vouchers/address/year) and drop at RecycleWorks, 1595 Stockyard Road (Thu–Sun staffed hours). Keep HHW/e-waste for the annual collection day — RecycleWorks does not take e-waste year-round.
Household hazardous waste — used oil, paint, propane, batteries, and chemicals.
Official source:
Take motor oil to Pueblo’s annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day — no permanent daily HHW depot. Confirm the date on pueblo.us. Keep chemicals off RecycleWorks bulky loads.
TVs, computers, and electronics. Usually banned from trash and the blue bin.
Official source:
Pueblo RecycleWorks does not accept electronics. Take e waste mixed to the annual HHW Collection Day (fees by size; info 719-583-4924). 2026 date was not posted on the city site at research time. Wipe data.
Cart recycling, store film take-back, and foam rules — not a second bulky program.
Official source:
Pueblo recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. City of Pueblo — RecycleWorks 2026 Guide is the official Pueblo program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
