Fort Worth collects mattresses and other allowed bulk on your assigned monthly bulk week. Set materials out by 7 a.m. Monday, keep one pile ≤10 cubic yards free, and leave about 2 feet from fences/cars/mailboxes. Bulk does not allow bagged trash, yard trimmings in plastic, auto parts/batteries/tires, contractor C&D, electronics, freon appliances/lawnmowers, dirt/rock/concrete/tile, liquids, or glass. Drop-Off Stations also accept bulk with water bill + driver’s license for full services.
Household hazardous waste — used oil, paint, propane, batteries, and chemicals.

Use Fort Worth’s Environmental Collection Center for chemicals, paint, batteries, cooking oil, and bulbs (ECC does not take appliances, electronics, propane, tires, or medical waste). Drop-Off Stations also accept HHW within limits (about 20 gallons of chemicals per three months) plus batteries and fluorescents. Used oil belongs with HHW drop-off — not storm drains or bulk.
TVs, computers, and electronics. Usually banned from trash and the blue bin.

Electronics are not allowed in Fort Worth monthly bulk or at the ECC. Take mixed electronics to a Drop-Off Station. Computers/TVs are limited to two per six months under DOS rules. Bring required ID/utility proof for full services.
Construction debris, concrete, and remodel waste — transfer station or roll-off.

Contractor C&D and materials like dirt/rock/concrete/tile are banned from Fort Worth monthly bulk. Drop-Off Stations accept small remodel debris up to about 5 cubic yards per month for eligible residents. Larger or contractor loads need a private C&D hauler.

Fort Worth collects yard waste weekly in paper bags or as prepared brush — do not put yard trimmings in plastic bags into bulk piles. Keep yard waste on the yard-waste pathway, not mixed into the ≤10 cu yd bulk pile as plastic-bagged trimmings.

Fort Worth recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. City of Fort Worth — Drop-off stations is the official Fort Worth program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
