Chula Vista residents schedule free bulky item pickup with Republic Services at (619) 421-9400 at least 24 hours before the service day (city FAQ notes up to 10 bulky items). Cart customers in good standing also get two Otay Landfill passes and two yard-waste passes per year (call 619-482-4024 or pick up at 891 Energy Way). Keep HHW for the South Bay HHW Facility — not bulky.

Accepted examples include paint, pesticides, pool chemicals, motor oil/filters, fluorescents, batteries, sharps, cooking oil, fuel, and electronics. Transport ≤15 gal / 125 lb. Not accepted: business waste, meds (except sharps rules), tires, large appliances.

Limit ~15 gallons or 125 pounds. City of San Diego residents are not accepted here.
