Bulky pickup in Clovis
Mattresses, furniture, and many appliances — city bulk or drop-off, not the regular cart.
Official source:
Clovis mattresss go out during the city's semi-annual neighborhood cleanup, when residents can set bulky material at the curb during their scheduled area week. Between cleanups, use a private hauler or a county disposal site. Household hazardous waste and chemicals are never part of the cleanup.
Household hazardous waste — used oil, paint, propane, batteries, and chemicals.
Official source:
Take motor oil to the City of Clovis Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Center at 79 N Sunnyside Avenue, open Tuesday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and free for residents — stay in your vehicle and staff will unload from your trunk or truck bed. The Fresno County Environmental Compliance Center at 1327 West Dan Ronquillo Drive is a second free option Thursday through Saturday. Call 559-324-2604 with questions.
TVs, computers, and electronics. Usually banned from trash and the blue bin.
Official source:
Clovis electronics including e waste mixed go free to the Fresno County Environmental Compliance Center at 1327 West Dan Ronquillo Drive in Fresno, open Thursday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It takes TVs, computer equipment, cell phones, toner cartridges, and solar panels. Bring photo ID and proof of residency; the limit is 15 gallons or 125 pounds per visit. Wipe your data first.
Construction debris, concrete, and remodel waste — transfer station or roll-off.
Official source:
Construction debris is not part of Clovis residential service. Haul it to the county American Avenue Disposal Site near Kerman with published tipping fees, or hire a private C&D hauler. Tires also go to the landfill rather than the HHW centers.
Cart recycling, store film take-back, and foam rules — not a second bulky program.
Official source:
Clovis recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. City of Clovis — Solid Waste is the official Clovis program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
