Bulky pickup in Santa Rosa
Mattresses, furniture, and many appliances — city bulk or drop-off, not the regular cart.

Santa Rosa mattresss go on Recology Sonoma Marin bulky collection — residential customers get 2 free pickups per year (schedule 800-243-0291). Freon appliances may incur a Freon charge. Keep HHW chemicals off bulky piles.
Household hazardous waste — used oil, paint, propane, batteries, and chemicals.
Official source:

TVs, computers, and electronics. Usually banned from trash and the blue bin.

Construction debris, concrete, and remodel waste — transfer station or roll-off.
Official source:
Construction debris is not typical free Recology bulky. Hire private C&D or confirm Central Disposal Site C&D rules. Route paint/chemicals to 500 Mecham Rd HHW separately.
Cart recycling, store film take-back, and foam rules — not a second bulky program.
Official source:
Santa Rosa recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. Zero Waste Sonoma — Bulky Item Pickup is the official Santa Rosa program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
