Bulky pickup in Amarillo
Mattresses, furniture, and many appliances — city bulk or drop-off, not the regular cart.
Official source:
Amarillo mattresss go on free bulky curb pickup — schedule 806-378-6813. Residents may also use Amarillo Landfill — 16250 Bezner Dr — free for resident household waste. Keep HHW off bulky piles. Never vent Freon yourself.
Household hazardous waste — used oil, paint, propane, batteries, and chemicals.
Official source:

TVs, computers, and electronics. Usually banned from trash and the blue bin.
Official source:

Construction debris, concrete, and remodel waste — transfer station or roll-off.
Official source:
Construction debris is not typical free bulky material. Hire a private C&D hauler or confirm landfill C&D rules at 16250 Bezner Dr. Route paint/chemicals to Environmental Lab HHW separately.
Cart recycling, store film take-back, and foam rules — not a second bulky program.
Official source:
Amarillo recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. City of Amarillo — Bulky Item Pick Up is the official Amarillo program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
