Bulky pickup in Irving
Mattresses, furniture, and many appliances — city bulk or drop-off, not the regular cart.
Official source:
Irving mattresses go on free weekly brush/bulky collection on the same day as recycling. Set out per city guidelines. TVs and tires are NOT standard bulky.
TVs, computers, and electronics. Usually banned from trash and the blue bin.
Official source:
Irving electronics including mixed e-waste are NOT on standard weekly bulky. Use electronics recycling events or Home Chemical Collection events — computers accepted, TVs not. Wipe data before drop-off.
Construction debris, concrete, and remodel waste — transfer station or roll-off.
Official source:
Construction debris is not Irving weekly brush/bulky material. Hire a private C&D hauler for remodel loads. Route paint/chemicals to Home Chemical events or HC3 separately.
Cart recycling, store film take-back, and foam rules — not a second bulky program.
Official source:
Irving recycling carts do not want expanded polystyrene (EPS). White block foam, packing peanuts, and food trays are different streams. Grocery film/bag bins are not a foam drop-off. City of Irving — Solid Waste Services is the official Irving program we verified — if that page only mentions plastic bags or film, treat block foam and food trays as bagged garbage unless it names a foam densifier. Clean peanuts may be reused at a shipper; starch peanuts are not EPS.
